Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. A Harvey World Travel Representative will meet you and will be with you
for the duration of yourtour in South Africa. You will board our coach for transfer to your luxury hotel, The Michelangelo, rated as one of the Leading Hotels Of The World.
In the evening, the group will meet at the Hotel’s cocktail lounge for a drink before retiring to the main restaurant for dinner.

A leisurely Buffet Breakfast will be served before boarding our coach for a brief orientation tour on the City of Johannesburg and a visit to “The Light on the Hill” – the country’s exciting new Constitutional Court on the site of what was a notorious prison during the Apartheid time.
After the early morning tour the coach will depart on a tour of Soweto, a sprawling metropolis of more than 3.5 million people on the outskirts of Johannesburg. We will also visit “Freedom Square” and Southern Africa’s largest hospital - Chris Hani Baragwanath, From Soweto the coach will d
epart on a guided tour of Gold Reef City, a re-creation of “old time” Johannesburg that came into its own as a major city when gold was discovered there in 1886. Witness the many activities of this golden age including Siyagida African dancing, smelting gold and go down a mineshaft to actually see how gold was mined in the early years. The coach departs Gold Reef City at approximately 16h00 for transfer back to your hotel.
After freshening up, we will again board the coach and transfer to the nearby Sandton theatre where we will have dinner and take in a local theatre production. The coach returns to the Michelangelo. Overnight at the hotel.

We will check out of the hotel and board the coach for Sun City with a stop en route at The Chameleon Village for a “unique” shopping experience. Upon your arrival at Sun City, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in at the magnificent Palace of the Lost City Hotel,
rated amongst the top 10 luxury hotels in the world.
In the afternoon, the group will meet outside the Palace hotel and be taken on a game drive on open Land Rovers through the Pilansberg game reserve.
Dinner will be taken at the exquisite Crystal Court Restaurant.

You will check out of the hotel and board the coach for your SAFARI adventure in the world-renowned Kruger National Park - Big 5 country. We travel through the “Panorama Route” which contains some of South Africa’s most spectacular scenery such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window before arriving at hotel, The Protea Hotel Kruger Gate.
Tea and coffee is served on the patio before departing on a short game drive in open Land Rovers, stopping en-route for sundowners in the bush.
Dinner is served around the Boma and Traditional Dancers will entertain.

You will be woken up and tea and coffee will be served on the patio.
Depart on a sunrise safari in open vehicles, which includes a stop for a picnic breakfast.
Return to the hotel for lunch.
You will be taken on an Environmental Awareness bush walk in the late afternoon before returning to the Lodge for a "bush braai" (bar-b-que).

Early morning wake up call for breakfast. 
Check out of the hotel and board the coach for your transfer to Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport for your flight to Cape Town.
Upon arrival in Cape Town you transfer to The Townhouse Hotel, a premier 4-star classified hotel.
Dinner will be at the hotel in the main restaurant on the first floor, and the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Leisurely buffet Breakfast.
Depart on a half-day tour of the beautiful and tranquil Cape Winelands, where you will get to taste some of South Africa’s finest wines at two well-known estates in Paarl and Stellenbosch. After lunch (for your own account), we will return to Cape Town and transfer direct the cable car, which whisks you to the top of Table Mountain (in 4 minutes). At the top of Table Mountain, you “can see forever” with a 360 degree view of all that the “Fairest Cape” has to offer. After Table Mountain, the coach returns us to our hotel.
Early evening transfer to the V&A where we will board the luxury boat, Tigger 2. For a tranquil cruise, while viewing Seals, Dolphins and various indigenous bird species. Refreshing sundowners and a meal on the deck will be served under the ambience of an African sunset.
After the cruise the ship will return to port and we will transfer back to Townhouse hotel.

Full buffet breakfast is served.
The coach will depart on a tour of the Gold of Africa Museum, where you will experience the ancient, sometimes mystical relationship that exists between gold and the African continent through state-of-the-art visuals and artistic displays. This is followed by an hour’s shopping at Green Market Square.
A colourful produce market since 1806 with many stalls and vendors selling arts and crafts of many kinds.
From here we will transfer to the V& A Waterfront for some more shopping time as well as lunch (for your own account) at one of the many restaurants available.
The final tour of the day will be a trip to the renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. These gardens are a floral masterpiece, famous for its beauty and its diversity of the Cape Flora it displays. The setting is magnificent, and is set against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.
After the Gardens, the coach will return to the hotel where you can rest and freshen up.
This evening the group will transfer by coach to the Green Dolphin Jazz Cafe at the V&A Waterfront for an evening of Dinner and Jazz.

As today is your final day in South Africa, the full day has been set aside for a full day at leisure to catch up on your shopping or some sightseeing. Your tour leader will be on hand to advise you of the various options and also to make some suggestions if you are not sure of what you would like to do for the day.

You will check out of your hotel and board the coach for transfer to one of Cape Town’s largest and most famous duty free jewellery manufacturers, before transferring to Cape Town International airport where you will start the first leg of your journey home, Washington DC via Johannesburg.
The airport at Johannesburg has one of the largest duty free shopping areas in the world. You should have a few hours before boarding to do that last minute shopping as well as cash in your VAT refunds.
